Determine VESA standard - VESA standard on the TV / monitor / TV quickly and easily find out.
A VESA mount is required to attach a screen, monitor, TV or television to a bracket. This must be identical for the screen and the mount so that the monitor can be attached to the monitor mount. The VESA standard can be found out quickly and easily.
Easy to determine the VESA standard for the monitor / TV
- On the back of the monitor / TV there are four threaded holes, to which the supplied stand of the screen is usually attached.
- The VESA standard stands for the horizontal and vertical distance between the threaded holes.
- First, measure the distance between the two upper hole distances (horizontal distance; 400 mm in the example).
- Then measure the distance between an upper and a lower threaded hole (vertical distance; 200 in the example).
- These two values result in the VESA standard: 400x200 in the example.
