- Which wall mount is suitable for my TV?
To find a suitable wall mount for your TV, you need to know which VESA standard your screen has. You can find this information in the instruction manual of your device. You can also determine the VESA dimensions of your screen yourself, as described in point 2.
You will also need the weight and diagonal screen size of your TV. The diagonal screen size is given in inches. You can get this information from the user manual or find it on the Internet on product websites.
With these three details, you can look for a suitable mount for your TV in our store. You will find a wide selection of manual and electric mounts, as well as tilt and swivel models. Feel free to give us a call and we'll work together to find out which mount best suits you and your screen. - What is the VESA standard and how do I calculate the required hole size?
The VESA standard regulates the various hole dimensions. You can determine the VESA hole size for your TV by measuring the horizontal and vertical distances between the drill holes on the back of your monitor. Depending on the size of the drill hole, add about 3-5 millimeters and you have calculated your VESA dimensions.
We also have universal mounts on offer that can be adjusted to the various VESA dimensions.
There are the following standards (all dimensions in millimeters):
VESA 75 x 75
VESA 100 x 100
VESA 200 x 100
VESA 200 x 200
VESA 400 x 400
VESA 600 x 200
VESA 600 x 400
VESA 800 x 400
For more information about the VESA standard, please visit http://www.vesa-standard.com/ - Do all TVs comply with the VESA standard?
Most TVs are VESA-compliant. However, there are exceptions, such as the monitors from Loewe. So that you can still take advantage of a mount with your Loewe monitor, we have the right adapters on offer. With an adapter, your monitor can be attached to a standard monitor mount with VESA standard.
In addition, we also offer individual solutions if you have special mounting requirements. This allows you to expand the mounting options of your Loewe monitor from wall mounts to ceiling mounts to stands. Just contact us! - Do I need a motorized wall mount?
A motorized wall mount allows you to stay comfortably on the couch or in bed while you adjust the screen with a remote control. This may be the case when the sun is glare on the screen and you want to change the viewing angle to avoid the glare. However, whether you want to take advantage of the motorized wall mount is your personal decision. - What advantages do I have with a swivel wall mount?
The advantage of a swivel wall mount is that the TV can be viewed from anywhere in the room at an ideal viewing angle. The larger the swivel radius, the more flexibility you get. There are also wall mounts that can only be swiveled in one direction. These mounts should be placed at the end of a room. - What advantages do I have with a tilting wall mount?
If you want or need to mount the TV very high, it can have a negative effect on your viewing angle. The use of a tiltable wall mount provides compensation so that you have an ideal viewing angle again. The tiltable wall mount has also proven its worth when mounted near a window. By using a negative tilt angle, you avoid glare and reflections.
When choosing a wall mount, pay attention to the possible degree of inclination. A mount with a high tilt angle can adapt to your needs better than a mount that tilts only a few degrees. - What does Full Motion mean?
There are also mounts that swivel and tilt at the same time. This full motion wall mount allows you to view the screen frontally at any point in the room if you align it accordingly. The tilt makes it adapt to your sitting position and avoids annoying glare. - What else do I need to install my wall mount?
If you want to attach your monitor mount to the wall, you will need a drill and a cordless screwdriver. Usually, you will receive an instruction manual with your mount, which explains the installation step by step. However, if you have any problems attaching the mount, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to advise you. By the way, we also offer TV wall mounts that can be installed without drilling. - On which wall can I mount my TV wall mount?
The wall should be firmly installed and stable. If the wall is made of aerated concrete, gypsum, sand-lime bricks or hollow blocks, you should use special dowels. Please inform yourself in the hardware store about suitable dowels for your wall. - At what height should I mount my TV wall mount?
The bottom edge of the TV should be approximately at eye level. If the screen is more than 2 meters away from the viewer, it can also be mounted a little higher. A tiltable TV wall mount also ensures an ideal viewing angle if the TV has been mounted too high. - How can I stow the cables?
There are some cables leading to the TV, these include the power supply, antenna cables, cables from DVD players and other devices. The cables are hidden in the monitor bracket. If you do not want to see the hanging cables on the way to the mount, you can hide them even before. For this purpose, we offer a selection of different cable channels, cable bridges and cable swallowers in our store. - When will my monitor bracket be delivered?
