In the public areas of buildings such as airports, train stations, universities, schools or hospitals, monitors are ideal for use as digital signage or interactive information systems for visitors. At the same time, these publicly accessible areas are often declared as escape routes, where no flammable materials may be installed due to fire safety regulations. Conventional monitors contain plastic, adhesive tapes and other parts that develop flue gases in case of a fire. In the development of the fire protection monitor A1, all materials that can contribute to the fire load were eliminated. The theft-proof Fortec Integrated BLO-Line fire protection display PME is made almost entirely of stainless steel and fire protection glass and complies with fire-resistance rating A1 (non-combustible).
Fire load optimized monitor with versatile features
The 24" Full HD monitor (1920x1080) has connections for HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort as well as an audio output. In addition, it can be remote-controlled by an external computer via the USB remote port. Thanks to the practical combined solution of monitor and enclosure, there is no need to purchase a separate fire protection housing. The mounting plate, which functions as an integrated wall mount, makes it easy to install the fireproof monitor. There is a recess on the back for wall outlets and other sockets. For offset sockets, an outlet for a cable feed can be ordered separately. Optionally, the display is also available in portrait format.

Fire behaviour / building material classes according to DIN EN 13501 and DIN 4102
Building materials are divided into building material classes that describe their behaviour in fire tests. The building material classes are not purely a material property, but are influenced, for example, by the surface, density, the bond with other materials or the processing technique. The fire behaviour of a building material is assigned to the classes of the building material tests according to the European standard (EN) and DIN according to the following table:

For building products according to EN 13501-1, a finer grading is made by an additional classification of smoke development and for burning fall-off or dripping. According to DIN 4102-1, these evaluations / additions must be noted in the test certificate. In EN 13501-1, the following subdivisions of the classes for fire behaviour, smoke development (s for smoke) and burning dripping or falling off (d for droplets) are given:
s1 - no / hardly any smoke
s2 - limited smoke
s3 - unlimited smoke
d0 - no dripping / falling
d1 - limited dripping / falling
d2 - heavy dripping / falling
Architects, engineers and construction managers must observe the fire protection regulations when planning and constructing buildings. Fire protection officers, fire protection experts or even the fire brigade support the creation of a fire protection concept and determine which requirements apply, for example, to fire protection floors or fire protection monitors (A1, A2, B1, etc.). No, you do not need a customer account to place an order with us. The “Create customer account” box is unchecked by default in the ordering process and must be explicitly checked if a customer account is required.

If the size of the parcel allows it, it can be sent to a Packstation. To do this, the recipient must be registered with DHL and authorized to use the Packstation. For addressing, we need the personal postal number (8 digits) and the Packstation number.

If no other period is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered within 1 - 5 days in Germany and within 5 - 7 days for deliveries abroad after conclusion of the contract (if advance payment has been agreed, after the time of your payment instruction). After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation with the expected shipping date.
If you order before 4 p.m. (Mon - Thu), the goods will be delivered the next working day (only in Germany and up to max. 15 kg). Please call in advance to find out whether the products are available (+49 (0)4103 903870) and state your telephone number when ordering.
Some items cannot be sent by parcel service due to their size or weight, but are delivered by a forwarding agent. These items are marked accordingly. Within Germany, delivery by forwarding agent is free of charge. The shipping costs for bulky goods abroad can be found under Shipping / Payment. When ordering, we need your telephone number so that the shipping company can contact you to arrange an appointment.
When the parcel is dispatched, a tracking link is sent to the email address provided. This allows the status of the shipment to be tracked at any time.
As a rule, yes. As long as the item has not yet been dispatched, you can request to cancel the order. We will then try to cancel the order. However, submitting a cancellation request is no guarantee that the item can actually be canceled.
