The 3-Series® Media Presentation Controller 302 (MPC3-302-W) in white is a wall-mounted 3-Series Control System® processor and control panel that is powered by PoE+. With its modern design and customizable, backlit buttons, it offers an optimal user interface for controlling AV and other system functions. The controller is fully programmable, supports web and cloud-based configuration and management, and integrates seamlessly with Crestron Fusion® software as part of a comprehensive enterprise solution. Crestron® MPC3 controllers are ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, lecture halls, and training facilities. The MPC3-302 can be used to control video displays or AV systems, adjust lighting and blinds, or for other custom applications. It is designed to be flush-mounted in a wall using a 3-way US junction box (not included), but can also be installed without a flush-mount box in a podium or placed on a table using the optional tabletop kit.

Customizable capacitive backlit buttons

• The MPC3-302-W is equipped with ten capacitive backlit buttons that can be labeled using either the included symbol chips or individually using laser-engravable chips sold separately. Each button lights up blue when activated and white when inactive to clearly indicate the currently selected media source or lighting scene. There is also a volume control surrounded by a blue display to show the volume settings. There are also dedicated buttons for power and mute control.
• All buttons and controls on the MPC3-302 can be individually programmed to control a variety of devices or functions. The automatic adjustment of the backlight ensures optimal visibility under different lighting conditions.
• No rack required: The MPC3-302 combines leading control technologies in a compact, wall-mountable device. Ethernet provides the essential connection to the building network, enabling control of Crestron AV switches, audio processors, power controllers and other IP-controllable devices. The Cresnet® network connection enables support for Crestron light dimmers, motorized blinds, sensors, thermostats, keypads and more. In addition, integrated RS-232, IR, relay and Versiport I/O control ports provide direct connection to third-party devices.
• 3-Series Control Module: The MPC3-302 is equipped with an integrated enterprise-class 3-Series control processor. Thanks to the modular programming architecture (optional), the MPC3-302 can run multiple programs simultaneously to maximize efficiency and flexibility. Strong network and IP control ensures seamless integration with other systems and devices. Control is also available via Crestron touchscreens, keypads, wireless remotes and mobile apps, including remote management via Crestron Fusion and the XiO Cloud® service.
• No programming required: With integrated .AV Framework™ technology, the MPC3-302 offers a fully functional AV presentation system that can be operated via simplified web-based configuration and a selection of control options and extensions.
• Crestron Fusion Room monitoring and scheduling: Crestron Fusion provides an integrated platform that helps create smart buildings, saves energy and increases employee productivity. As part of a fully managed network in enterprises, college campuses, convention centers, or other facilities, the MPC3-302 works seamlessly with Crestron Fusion to enable remote scheduling, monitoring, and control of spaces and technology centrally or remotely. Businesses can also reduce energy consumption by monitoring real-time consumption and automating AV, lighting, blinds, and HVAC controls.
• XiO Cloud Deployment and Management: The MPC3-302 is compatible with the XiO Cloud service, an IoT-based platform for remotely deploying, monitoring, and managing Crestron devices in an enterprise or across an entire customer base. XiO Cloud is built on the Microsoft® Azure® software platform and leverages Microsoft's industry-leading Azure IoT Hub technology, enabling installers and IT managers to deploy and manage thousands of devices in the time it used to take to manage a single device. Unlike virtual machine-based cloud solutions, Azure services offer unlimited scalability to meet the growing needs of a business.
• Enterprise-grade security: The MPC3-302 is an enterprise-class control processor that can be deployed in hundreds of rooms and easily configured via a web browser, Toolbox software, Crestron Fusion or XiO Cloud. It uses standardized network security protocols such as 802.1X network access control, Active Directory® authentication, SSH, TLS and HTTPS to ensure reliability and compliance with your company's IT policies.
• SNMP support: Built-in SNMP support enables integration with third-party IT management software, allowing network administrators to manage and control Crestron systems on the network in an IT-friendly format.
• Power over Ethernet Plus: PoE+ technology allows the MPC3-302 to draw its operating power directly from the LAN cabling. PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) eliminates the need for a separate power supply or dedicated power cabling. A Crestron PoE+ switch (CEN-SWPOE-16, sold separately) provides a comprehensive network solution with integrated PoE+ to support multiple MPC3 controllers and other PoE or PoE+ powered devices.
• Cresnet Networking: Cresnet provides a simple, four-wire network cabling solution for Crestron keypads, lighting controls, window shade motors, thermostats, occupancy sensors, and other devices that do not require higher Ethernet speeds. The MPC3-302 includes a Cresnet master port that can support approximately 20 Cresnet devices. Systems with more than 20 devices can be managed by adding a Cresnet hub (DIN-HUB or CNXHUB) or an Ethernet to Cresnet bridge (DIN-CENCN-2 or DIN-CENCN-2-POE). Note: The MPC3-302 provides a maximum of 2.5W to power Cresnet devices. For applications requiring more than 2.5W, an external Cresnet power supply must be added.
• Integrated control ports: In addition to Ethernet, the MPC3-302 has various control ports for connecting to third-party devices. Its bidirectional COM port and IR port (one of each) allow control of video displays, document cameras, and other devices. Two programmable relay ports are used to control a projection screen, elevator, or other devices that require low-voltage contact closure. Two Versiport I/O ports allow integration of various types of sensors or other devices that provide dry contact closure, low-voltage logic, or a 0-10 VDC signal.
• Flush Mount: The MPC3-302 is designed to be flush mounted in a wall using a 3-way US junction box (not included). However, it can also be installed in a lectern or podium without a flush box. After installation, the button labels can be changed at any time by simply removing the front cover. A security screw is included to prevent unauthorized removal.
