The 3-Series® Media Presentation Controller 302 (MPC3-302-B) in black is a wall-mounted, PoE+-powered 3-Series Control System® processor and control panel in one. Its modern appearance and customizable, backlit buttons provide an ideal user interface for controlling AV and other functions. The controller offers fully programmable features, supports web and cloud-based configuration and management, and integrates with Crestron Fusion® software as part of a fully managed enterprise solution.Crestron® MPC3 controllers are perfect for classrooms, conference rooms, lecture halls, and training facilities. Use the MPC3-302 to control a video display or AV system, adjust lighting and blinds, or any other custom application. The MPC3-302 is designed to be flush mounted in a wall using a 3-way US junction box (not included). It can also be installed in a podium without a junction box or placed on a table with the optional tabletop kit.

Customizable backlit capacitive buttons

• The MPC3‑302‑B features ten backlit capacitive buttons, each of which can be labeled with the included icon chips or individually labeled with laser-engravable chips (sold separately). Each button is illuminated blue when activated and white when inactive to clearly indicate which media source or lighting scene is currently selected. A volume control knob is included, surrounded by a blue volume indicator to indicate the volume setting. Additional buttons are provided for power and mute control.
• All buttons and controls on the MPC3-302 are individually programmable to control any device or function. Automatic backlight brightness control ensures optimal visibility in different lighting conditions.
• No rack required: The MPC3-302 combines the industry's best control technologies in a compact, wall-mountable unit. Ethernet provides the essential interface for connecting to the building network and controlling Crestron AV switchers, audio processors, power controllers, and other IP-controllable devices. Cresnet® network connectivity provides support for Crestron light dimmers, motorized blinds, sensors, thermostats, keypads and more. Integrated RS-232, IR, relay and Versiport I/O control ports enable direct integration with all types of third-party devices.
• 3-Series Control Module: The MPC3-302 features an integrated enterprise-class 3-Series control processor. Thanks to the integrated modular programming architecture (optional), the MPC3-302 can run multiple programs simultaneously for increased efficiency and flexibility. Solid network and IP control enable seamless integration with other systems and devices, with additional control capability via Crestron touchscreens, keypads, wireless remotes and mobile device apps with remote management via Crestron Fusion and the XiO Cloud® service.
• No programming required: Integrated .AV Framework™ technology provides a fully functional AV presentation system with simplified web-based configuration and a choice of control options and add-ons.
• Crestron Fusion Room Monitoring and Scheduling: Crestron Fusion provides an integrated platform for creating smart buildings that save energy and increase employee productivity. As part of a fully managed network in a corporation, university campus, convention center, or other facility, the MPC3-302 works with Crestron Fusion to enable remote scheduling, monitoring, and control of spaces and technology from a central help desk or mobile app. Additionally, businesses can reduce energy consumption by tracking real-time usage and automating AV, lighting, blinds, and HVAC controls.
• XiO Cloud Deployment and Management: The MPC3-302 is compatible with the XiO Cloud service, an IoT (Internet of Things)-based platform for remote deployment, monitoring, and d management of Crestron devices across an enterprise or an entire customer base. Built on the Microsoft® Azure® software platform and leveraging Microsoft's industry-leading Azure IoT Hub technology, XiO Cloud enables installers and IT managers to deploy and manage thousands of devices in the time it previously took to manage a single device. Unlike other virtual machine-based cloud solutions, Azure services offer unlimited scalability to meet the ever-growing needs of an enterprise.
• Enterprise-grade security: The MPC3-302 is an enterprise-class control processor that can be deployed in hundreds of rooms and easily set up using a web browser, Toolbox software, Crestron Fusion or XiO Cloud. It uses standard network security protocols including 802.1X network access control, Active Directory® service authentication, SSH, TLS and HTTPS to ensure reliability and compliance with your company's IT policies.
• SNMP support: Built-in SNMP support enables integration with third-party IT management software, allowing network administrators to manage and control Crestron systems on the network in an IT-friendly format.
• Power over Ethernet Plus: Thanks to PoE+ technology, the MPC3-302 receives its operating power directly from the LAN cabling. PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) eliminates the need for a local power supply or dedicated power cabling. A Crestron PoE+ switch (CEN-SWPOE-16, sold separately) provides a comprehensive network solution with integrated PoE+ to support multiple MPC3 controllers and other PoE or PoE+ powered devices.
• Cresnet Network: Cresnet provides a simple four-wire network cabling solution for Crestron keypads, lighting controls, window shade motors, thermostats, occupancy sensors, and other devices that do not require the higher Ethernet speed. The MPC3-302 includes a Cresnet master port that can support approximately 20 Cresnet devices. Systems with more than 20 devices can be managed by adding a Cresnet hub (DIN-HUB or CNXHUB) or an Ethernet to Cresnet bridge (DIN-CENCN-2 or DIN-CENCN-2-POE). NOTE: The MPC3-302 provides a maximum of 2.5W to power Cresnet devices. For applications requiring more than 2.5W, an external Cresnet power supply must be added.
• Integrated Control Ports: In addition to Ethernet, the MPC3-302 has a variety of control ports for connecting to third-party devices. Its bidirectional COM port and IR port (one of each) allow you to control a video display, document camera, and other devices. Two programmable relay ports are used to control a projection screen, elevator, or other devices with low-voltage contact closure. Two Versiport I/O ports allow the integration of various types of sensors or other devices that provide dry contact closure, low voltage logic, or a 0-10 VDC signal.
• Flush Mount: The MPC3-302 is designed to be flush mounted in a wall using a 3-way US junction box (not included). It can also be installed in a lectern or podium without a flush box. Once installed, the button labels can be changed at any time by simply removing the front cover. A security screw is included to prevent unauthorized removal.
