The Crestron® MPC3-102-B Media Presentation Controller is perfect for classrooms, conference rooms, lecture halls, and training facilities - anywhere a simple yet powerful controller is needed but space is limited. Use the MPC3-102 to control a video display or AV system, adjust lighting and blinds, or perform other custom applications. The MPC3-102 is designed to be flush-mounted in a wall using a 1-gang US distribution box (not included). It can also be installed in a podium without a flush box. A retrofittable mounting bracket is also available to enable installation above a 2-gang US distribution box, providing an easy upgrade solution to replace an older MPC-M5 Series controller.

Individually Programmable Buttons

• Customizable Backlit Capacitive Buttons: The MPC3-102 features nine backlit capacitive buttons, each of which can be individually labeled using the included symbol chips or laser engravable chips (sold separately). Each button is illuminated blue when activated and white when inactive to clearly indicate which media source or lighting scene is currently selected. There are four additional buttons below, as well as a volume indicator for controlling volume, mute and power.
• All buttons on the MPC3-102 are individually programmable to control any device or function. Built-in proximity detection activates the buttons as you approach, and automatic brightness control ensures optimal button visibility in different lighting conditions.
• No rack required: The MPC3-102 combines the industry's best control technologies in a compact, wall-mountable device. High-speed Ethernet provides the essential interface for connecting to the building network and controlling Crestron AV switchers, audio processors, and other IP-controllable devices. Cresnet® network connectivity provides support for Crestron light dimmers, motorized blinds, sensors, thermostats, keypads, and more. Integrated RS-232, IR, relay, and Versiport I/O control ports enable direct integration with all types of third-party devices.
• 3-Series® Control Module: The MPC3-102 features an integrated 3-Series enterprise-grade control processor. Crestron 3-Series provides a dynamic and secure control system platform to reliably manage a room full of disparate technologies. Modular programming architecture (optional) allows the MPC3-102 to run multiple programs simultaneously for increased efficiency and flexibility. Solid network and IP control enable seamless integration with other systems and devices, with additional control capabilities via Crestron touchscreens, wireless remotes and mobile device apps, and remote management via Crestron Fusion® software and XiO Cloud® service.
• No programming required! Integrated .AV Framework™ software technology provides a fully functional AV presentation system with simplified web-based configuration and a choice of control options and add-ons.
• Crestron Fusion Room Monitoring and Scheduling: Crestron Fusion provides an integrated platform for creating truly smart buildings that save energy and increase employee productivity. As part of a fully managed network in a corporate, university campus, convention center or other facility, the MPC3-102 works with Crestron Fusion to enable remote scheduling, monitoring and control of rooms and technology from a central help desk or mobile app. Additionally, businesses can reduce energy consumption by tracking real-time usage and automating AV, lighting, blinds and HVAC control.
• XiO Cloud deployment and management: The MPC3-102 is compatible with the XiO Cloud service. XiO Cloud is Crestron's unified IoT (Internet of Things)-based platform for remote deployment, -Monitor and manage Crestron devices across an enterprise or an entire customer base. XiO Cloud enables installers and IT managers to deploy and manage thousands of devices in the time it would normally take to manage a single device.
• Enterprise-grade security: The MPC3-102 is an enterprise-class control processor that can be deployed in hundreds of rooms and easily set up via a web browser, Toolbox software, Crestron Fusion or XiO Cloud. It uses standard network security protocols including 802.1X network access control, Active Directory® software authentication, SSH, TLS and HTTPS to ensure reliability and compliance with your company's IT policies.
• SNMP support: Built-in SNMP support enables integration with third-party IT management software, allowing network administrators to manage and control Crestron systems on the network in an IT-friendly format.
• Power over Ethernet: Using PoE technology, the MPC-102 obtains its operating power directly from the LAN cabling. PoE (Power over Ethernet) eliminates the need for a local power supply or dedicated power cabling. A PoE injector (PWE-4803RU) is simply connected to the LAN cable at any convenient location. Crestron PoE switches (CEN-SW-POE-5 or CEN-SWPOE-16) can also be used to provide a complete network solution with integrated PoE. All PoE injectors and switches are sold separately.
• Flush Mount: The MPC3-102 is designed to be flush mounted in a wall using a 1-gang US junction box (not included). It can also be installed in a lectern or podium without a flush box. With the optional retrofittable mounting bracket (MPC3-101/102/201-RMB, sold separately), the MPC3-102 can be installed in a 2-way US junction box, easily replacing an existing MPC-M5 Series controller. Once installed, button labels can be changed at any time by simply removing the front cover. A security screw is included to prevent unauthorized removal.
